Forsvar for et kristent Europa

Magdi Cristiano Allam, den ægyptiske journalist bosat i Italien, som blev døbt af paven, har grundlagt et kristent politisk parti ved navn Protagonisti per l’Europa cristiana (Protagonists for a Christian Europe):

“My party is not religious, nor is it directed only at Christians. It is a party that denounces the ethical state of emergency in Europe, and proclaims that the Christian roots of our continent are a non-negotiable historical truth, which it is our absolute objective to defend. The Judeo-Christian roots of Europe are an essential foundation, a necessity: forgetting them has pushed us towards ethical and religious relativism, towards a slippery slope. Europe risks suicide.”
