From September 2006 to February 2017, McMaster is listed as a member of International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), where he served as consulting senior fellow. The IISS describes itself as a “world-leading authority on global security, political risk and military conflict.”

North Korea tested a missile today that “probably” demonstrated their capability to strike America’s Pacific Coast, a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee warned.

Defense Department spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis said in a statement today that the Pentagon “tracked a single North Korea missile launch today at about 10:41 a.m. EDT.”

“We assess that this missile was an intercontinental ballistic missile, as had been expected,” Davis said. “The missile was launched from Mupyong-ni and traveled about 1,000 km before splashing down in the Sea of Japan. We are working with our interagency partners on a more detailed assessment.”

Tempers flared as Al Quds march took place in the central London, Sunday, calling for the freedom of Palestine.

Dozen of counter-protesters, waving with Israeli flags staged a rally on the march route, but were separated from the Pro-Palestinian demonstrators by police officers.

Some of the counter-protesters took issue with the flags of Hezbollah and Hamas, several of which seemed to be flown by protester. The flags officially prohibited to be shown on public in the UK and some other European countries.

Of the pro-Israeli demonstrators, protester Zareen said “They could have their own protest but they are not brave enough to have a protest saying ‘Down with Palestine’, are they. So they come here and harass us.”

Al-Quds day, which falls on the last day of the month of Ramadan, was introduced in 1979 by late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini as a day of protest against Zionism and Israel’s control of Jerusalem. Al-Quds is the Arabic name for Jerusalem, and Iran says the day gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their support for the Palestinians and highlight the importance of Jerusalem for Muslims.

According to a report in The Express, the motion has been started by James Duddridge who is the Conservative MP for Rochford and Southend East, and it comes after a growing number of people have been expressing their anger at the fact that Bercow is opposed to a speech in Parliament by a man who is the democratically elected leader of the United States of America.

More importantly for some, the Speaker of the House of Commons is supposed to remain impartial at all times when in position, and Bercow’s recent inflammatory statements have been anything but impartial!

He said the Speaker’s comments were just the latest in which he ignored his position’s expectation of political neutrality.

Hollande nekter å droppe vinen – middag med Rouhani avlyst

Mens italienske myndigheter dekket til nakne statuer da den iranske presidenten Hassan Rouhani kom på besøk, nekter François Hollande å sette bort den franske vinen når Rouhani ankommer Paris.

Ifølge den franske TV-kanalen RTL ba han derfor av religiøse grunner om at man skulle droppe alkohol i den planlagte middagen med François Hollande.

Der gikk imidlertid grensen for Frankrike. Ønsket om å kutte den franske rødvinen fra menyen, ble avvist.

Iran is not going to abandon its friends in the region namely Assad and other terrorist groups in the region despite an apparent thaw in relationship with Obama administration.

It is naïve to believe that Iran will stop its malign activities and influence in the neighboring countries following a nuclear deal that Obama administration thinks as a breakthrough agreement.
The proof can be seen through a senior advisor to the regime’s supreme leader Khamenei who has said the recent nuclear deal between the Iran and the major world powers gives Tehran more power to support its allies in the region.

Det er specielt de hemmelige aftaler, som er indgået mellem Iran og IAEA , der bekymrer ham.

Det er særdeles forståeligt.
IAEA er den FN-organisation, der i teorien skal passe på at Iran ikke snyder.
Denne organisation har altså lavet hemmelige aftaler med Iran, som Kerry kender, men ikke vil røbe.

IAEA er berygtet for at være den organisation, som som ikke forhindrede Pakistan, Indien, Irak ( før Israel smadrede Osiris reaktoren) og NordKorea i at anskaffe sig atomvåben trods at de alle havde underskrevet ikke-spredningsaftalen.

Ih, hvor har jeg dog tillid til IAEA …
