Fotografier som fordømmer HetZZbollah

Avisen Sunday Herald Sun har fået fat i et sæt fotografier, der er smuglet ud af Beirut.

De viser hizbollah med missiler og svært skyts i boligområder. De flinke terrorist-militser er i civilt tøj så de hurtigt kan smutte når lokummet brænder og tingene begynder at gå ud over civilbefolkningen.

FN har valgt side

Hizbollah-militsen bombarderede søndag Israel med 156 raketter.

Siden konfliktens begyndelse har Hizbollah beskudt Israel med omkring 1800 raketter.

Det israelske militær erkender, at Qana i Libanon blev bombet tidligt søndag, men israelerne er ikke sikre på, at det var en israelsk bombe, der kostede flere end 60 civile livet.

Men:

FN‘s generalsekretær, Kofi Annan, opfordrede søndag Sikkerhedsrådet til at fordømme søndagens israelske angreb på landsbyen Qana i det sydlige Libanon.

Fra forskellige avisartikler – og hizbollahterroristerne kaldes milits! 1800 raketter. Hvad koster de pr stk? Hvor har de pengene fra? Og hvorfor skal vi samle penge ind til dem?

Vi smutter, så snart de ligger ned. De bliver kørt væk i ambulancer, og vi har erobret gaden igen, siger den 31-årige Jesper. Han er anti-fascist og har i årevis forsøgt at bekæmpe folkene på den modsatte side af det politiske billede: den yderste højrefløj.

Og PET siger, at højrefløjen er problemet??? Ikke for at jeg sympatiserer med nazisterne, men hvad er det lige for metoder der anvendes her? Hvem er det, der altid henviser til, at nutiden ligner 30’erne? Journalisten har heller ikke mange kritiske spørgsmål til voldsmanden. Hvem bliver de næste der skal have nogen på bærret?

Like fullt, det kan også bli hevdet at mange innvandringsliberalere og antirasister viser voldelige og antidemokratiske trekk, at de til dels ledes av folk uten dypere nasjonale kjensler, og at flere av dem er politiske opportunister som kryper for inntrengerne og driver meningssensur overfor gode nordmenn. I et slikt perspektiv blir det innvandringsliberalerne som likner mest på bildet av den idealtypiske nazist.

Kvinders rettigheder i islam

Den yderste venstrefløj er åbenbart ved at organisere sig med den radikale islam.

asmaa.jpgSå er det man undrer sig. Hvor progressive er kvindelige medlemmer af venstrefløjen egentlig – hopper de på udsagnet om, at islam betragter kvinder som ligeværdige partnere for mænd. Og at kvinders rettigheder garanteres af islam. Eller længes de i virkeligheden efter en god gammeldags undertrykkende mandschauvinistisk gris:

1) En muslimsk mand kan gifte sig med op til 4 kvinder. Men en kvinde kan kun have 1 mand. (koran 4:3)

2) Mænd har ret til skilsmisse. Kvinder har ikke. (Koran 2:229)

jihad.jpgThe politically correct would have it that Islam is a religion of peace, but in this far-ranging collection of Muslim and non-Muslim eyewitness accounts, theological treatises by great Muslim scholars and jurists throughout history and historical surveys of superb historians, Islam has in fact practiced a grisly jihad campaign against non-Muslims from its earliest days, in the hope of satisfying the Prophet Mohammed’s end goal—forcing the “one true faith” upon the entire world.

In 759 pages, divided into eight parts, Dr. Andrew Bostom has provided a fantastic compendium of historical surveys; jihad literature; classical Muslim scholarly treatises; historical overviews from important 20th century historians; foldout, color-coded maps; eyewitness accounts of jihad campaigns from the Near East, Asia Minor, Europe and the Indian subcontinent; historical and contemporary accounts of jihad slavery; and Muslim and non-Muslim chronicles and eyewitness accounts of jihad campaigns.

It is hard, after viewing these compelling accounts and histories, to continue to believe that radical Islamists are in fact all that radical. For Islam, at its core, seems to be a faith bent upon the conquest and subjugation of non-Muslims.

In part two, Bostom collects many jihadist teachings in the Qur’an, for example, Qur’an chapter 9, verse 29, “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and his apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth even if they are the people of the book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and fell themselves subdued.” These teachings fill all of two pages in the text.

But Bostom does not stop there. The third chapter is devoted to classical and modern teachings of Qur’anic commentators on Chapter 9, verse 29. Al-Suyuti (d. 1505 CE), for example, writes “Fight those who don’t believe in God nor in the Last Day [Unless they believe in the Prophet God bless him and grant him peace] nor hold what is forbidden that which God and His emissary have forbidden [e.g. Wine] nor embrace the true faith [which is firm and abrogates other faiths, i.e., the Islamic religion] from among [for distinguishing] those who were given the Book [i.e., the Jews and Christians] until they give the head-tax [i.e., the annual taxes imposed on them] (l’an yadinl) humbly submissive, and obedient to Islam’s rule.”

Also commenting on the Qur’anic chapter 9, verse 29 are al-Zamakshari (d. 1144), al Tabari (d. 923), al-Beidawi (d. 1286), Ibn Kathir (d. 1373), Sayyid Qutb (d. 1966) and al-Azhar, al-Muntakhab Fii Tafsir al-Qur’aan al-Kariim, 1985. Let no one say that Bostom has taken these teachings out of context, for the classical and contemporary commentators interpret the passage in precisely the same way as it appears.

Chapter 4 is then devoted to jihad in the Hadith, with commentary from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Part 3 presents the classical writings of Muslim theologians and jurists on jihad. This 110-page section spans the entire history of Islam, beginning with commentators from the 8th century and continuing through the 20th century. Bostom has gleaned writings of Malik B. Anas (d. 795) from the Muwata, as well as a 1915 Ottoman Fatwa.

He also includes several works translated into English for the first time. For example, Ibn Qudama (d. 1223), writes, “Legal war (jihad) is an obligatory social duty (fard-kifaya); when one group of Muslims guarantees that it is being carried out in a satisfactory manner, the others are exempted.” Almost everywhere in this text, the author is belligerent. “It is permitted to surprise the infidels under cover of night, to bombard them with mangonels [an engine that hurls missiles] and to attack them without declaring battle (du’a).”

Similarly, the renowned Sufi master al-Ghazali (d. 1111) writes (now in English for the first time), “One must go on jihad (i.e. Warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year… one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and drown them.” The marriages of slaves, al-Ghazali continues, are automatically “revoked. One may cut down their trees…. One must destroy their useless books.” This belies the notion that Sufism is peaceful.

Al-Hilli (d. 1277) appears for the first time in English on the traditions concerning the tax on certain infidels, who have not been enslaved or murdered. And the Persian scholar Muhammad al-Amili (d. 1621) has been translated from Farsi concerning Jihad holy war: “Islamic holy war against followers of other religions, such as Jews, is required unless they convert to Islam or pay the poll tax.”

The 117-page Part 4 includes overviews of Jihad by important 20th century scholars, including Edmond Fagnan, on jihad according to the Malikite school, Roger Arnaldez on the holy war according to Ibn Hazm of Cordova, Clement Huart on the law of war, Nicolas P. Agnides, on the classification of persons under Islamic law and John Ralph Willis on the jihad ideology of enslavement.

As Ibn Warraq notes in the forward to this monumental study of Islamic jurisprudence and prosecution of war, Dr. Bostom (a non-specialist from the field of clinical medicine) is the first scholar to have had translated from Arabic into English the works of al-Bayadawi, al-Suyuti, al-Zamakhshari and al-Tabari, as well as works by Sufi master al-Ghazali, Shiites al-Hilli and al-Amili. He also includes representatives from the four schools of Sunni jurisprudence-Averroes and Ibn Khaldun (Maliki), Ibn Taymiya and Ibn Qudama (Hanbali), Shaybani (Hanafi), and al-Mawardi (Shaafi).

Ibn Warraq continues: Some contend that Dr. Bostom is right to expose history hitherto denied, but this was not the right historical moment to do so. But, as Isaiah Berlin once noted, from the ideologue’s willingness to suppress what he suspects to be true has flowed much evil.

This paper attempts to use available demographic data to cast light on trends indicative of, or potentially supportive of, an accretion of security threats from what has been termed “the U.S. southern security perimeter”: the USA’s interface with Latin America and the Caribbean. Available data on fertility, urbanization, religious affiliation and migration suggest that many local demographic trends defy prevailing North American stereotypes for the region–and that the significance of these emerging trends thus remains imperfectly recognized and poorly appreciated in Washington.

Zubaydah’s testimony has since been further corroborated by a known al Qaeda ideologue, Dr. Muhammad al-Masari. Al-Masari operated the Committee for the Defense of Legitimate Rights, a Saudi oppositionist group and al Qaeda front, out of London for more than decade. He told the editor-in-chief of Al-Quds Al-Arabi that Saddam “established contact with the ‘Afghan Arabs’ as early as 2001, believing he would be targeted by the US once the Taliban was routed.”

Furthermore, “Saddam funded Al-Qaeda operatives to move into Iraq with the proviso that they would not undermine his regime.”

Al-Masari claimed that Saddam’s regime actively aided Zarqawi and his men prior to the war and fully included them in his plans for a terrorist insurgency. He said Saddam “saw that Islam would be key to a cohesive resistance in the event of invasion.” Iraqi officers bought “small plots of land from farmers in Sunni areas” and they buried “arms and money caches for later use by the resistance.”

Al-Masari also claimed that “Iraqi army commanders were ordered to become practicing Muslims and to adopt the language and spirit of the jihadis.”

Just as Saddam ordered, many of Iraq’s senior military and intelligence personnel joined or aided Zarqawi’s jihad. Many of the more prominent supporters and members of Zarqawi’s al Qaeda branch, in fact, came from the upper echelon of Saddam’s regime. Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri (aka the “King of Clubs”) and his sons allied with Zarqawi, as did members of Muhammad Hamza Zubaydi’s (aka the “Queen of Spades”) family. Zarqawi’s allies included Muhammed Hila Hammad Ubaydi, who was an aide to Saddam’s chief of staff of intelligence, and some of his more lethal operatives served as officers in Saddam’s military, including Abu Ali, “Al-Hajji” Thamer Mubarak (whose sister attempted a martyrdom operation in Jordan), Abu-Ubaidah, and Abdel Fatih Isa.

I don’t want to mention names now, but when the time comes to settle accounts, I will. They asked: ‘If this happens, will the issue of the prisoners be over and done with?’ I said that it was logical that it would.

The Unifil bulletin for July 24 reported:

One unarmed UN military observer, a member of the Observer Group
Lebanon (OGL), was seriously wounded by small arms fire in the patrol base in the Marun Al Ras area yesterday afternoon. According to preliminary reports, the fire originated from the Hezbollah side during an exchange with the IDF. He was evacuated by the UN to the Israeli side, from where he was taken by an IDF ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Haifa. He was operated on, and his condition is now reported as stable.

The Unifil bulletin for July 26 reported:

Another UN position of the Ghanaian battalion in the area of Marwahin in the western sector was also directly hit by one mortar round from the Hezbollah side last night. The round did not explode, and there were no casualties or material damage. Another 5 incidents of firing close to UN positions from the Israeli side were reported yesterday. It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the vicinity of four UN positions at Alma ash Shab, Tibnin, Brashit, and
At Tiri
. All UNIFIL positions remain occupied and maintained by the troops.

And the Unifil bulletin for July 27 says:

There were three incidents of firing close to UN positions in the last 24 hours from the Israeli side. It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the vicinity of four UN positions at Marwahin, Alma Ash Shab, Brashit, and At Tiri.

While the Israeli hit on the UN post has become a major incident and further excuse for vilifying Israel, the fact that Hezbollah has also hit the UN has not even been reported. More importantly, it is clear that Hezbollah are using the UN posts — with or without their complicity —for the purposes of war.

Videnskabeligt bevis: Anti-zionisme er det samme som Anti-semitisme

Hvad er sandsynligheden for, at lederskribenten, vittighedstegneren eller universitetsprofessoren som råber op om zionismens ondskab, i virkeligheden er en god gammeldags jødehader?

Meget større end vi tror ifølge en videnskabelig undersøgelse i augustnummeret af The Journal of Conflict Resolution.

Goebbels havde ret – gentag en løgn ofte nok – og folk vil tro på den. Selv jøder vil tro på løgne om sig selv. I årevis har vi hørt, at folks holdninger til Israel ikke har noget med antisemitisme at gøre.  Det er zionister og Israel, folk er imod – ikke jøder:

Det passer ikke. De to forskere Kaplan og Small fra Yale Universitetet siger: de som hader Israel hader jøder:

Even after controlling for numerous potentially confounding factors, we find that anti-Israel sentiment consistently predicts the probability that an individual is anti-Semitic, with the likelihood of measured anti-Semitism increasing with the extent of anti-Israel sentiment observed.

Forskerne undersøgte respondenter i 10 Europæiske lande (500 i hver) med 2 serier af spørgsmål, den ene om afsky for Israel og landets politik og den anden med spørgsmål jøders natur og opførsel. De kontrollerede for andre faktorer såsom generelt fremmedhad. De fandt mindre anti-semitisme hos kvinder og højere uddannede (med tilsyneladene undtagelse af college professorer, franske og britiske politikere). De viser også, at fjendtlighed mod jøder korrellerer godt med negative følelser mod indvandrere.

Kan man være kritisk mod Israel uden at rumme anti-jødiske følelser? Klart ja – hvis kritikken af Israel ikke er særligt udtalt:

It is noteworthy that fewer than one-quarter of those with anti-Israel index scores of only 1 or 2 harbor anti-Semitic views (as defined by anti-Semitic index scores exceeding 5), which supports the contention that one certainly can be critical of Israeli policies without being anti-Semitic. However, among those with the most extreme anti-Israel sentiments in our survey (anti-Israel index scores of 4), 56% report anti-Semitic leanings. Based on this analysis, when an individual’s criticism of Israel becomes sufficiently severe, it does become reasonable to ask whether such criticism is a mask for underlying anti-Semitism.

Det du læser her er ikke kommet ud i medierne endnu. Hold øje med det. Det bør komme til offentlighedens kendskab.

Muslimske miljøer aksepterer homo-vold

I løpet av en uke i juli har to homofile menn blitt brutalt banket opp i Oslo sentrum av innvandrerungdom på grunn av sin legning.

Ungdom med innvandrerbakgrunn står bak grove overgrep mot homofile. Det er veldig merkelig at hele det offisielle Norge stiller opp i fakkeltog så fort en innvandrer blir utsatt for vold, mens det bare blir en notis i avisene hvis det er homofile som blir overfalt på grunn av sin legning, mener stortingsrepresentant André Oktay Dahl (H).
Dahl er selv homofil og halvt tyrkisk. Dermed har han kjennskap til begge subgrupper i det norske samfunnet.

Hvem vogter hvem?

Digitalkameraerne er billige nutildags. Ariske agenter? Hvor har man hørt den slags sprog før? “Agenterne Hellig M. Brix og Hedeslag?”  som skriver i “skraldespanden Sappho.”

Det lyder som om det Brix og Hedegaard gør, er i den rigtige retning. Ellers kan det vel ikke irrritere muslimerne så meget? Derudover må man sige, at Safia m.fl. er nogle overordentligt ringe fotografer – måske er kameraerne en tand for billige?

Jeg kommer til at tænke på den kinesiske krigsfilosof Sun Tzu, som skrev bogen “The Art of War” for hundredevis af år siden: “Irriter din fjende.”

Sagen om den norske avis Dagbladets Olmertkarikatur går verden rundt

Sagen om tegningen der viser den israelske premierminister som koncentrationslejrchef med henvisning til Schindlers Liste, går rundt i verden. Avisen nævner ovenikøbet flere bloggere blandt andre Newsbusters og The Brussels Journal.

Efter min mening er det da helt iorden at bringe en sådan tegning – hvis man også gør det med den anden side i konflikten. Men det gør nordmændene ikke. Så de er dobbeltmoralske – ligesom Kamelens yndlingsavis – The Guardian.
