Anti-Jewish and pro-ISIS graffiti slogans were found on various buildings and vehicles in Voorburg.
One of them wishes death to the Dutch Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders.
The word ISIS with a smiley face next to it was spray-painted on various buildings, along with the slogans Wilders have to die and “All Jews die” (Alle joden gaan dood). The same was found on several vehicles. A number of buildings were also marked with a Nasara symbol – the symbol used in the Western world to support Christians in Syria and Iraq. In these countries the symbol is used to mark Christians’ homes.
De Dijsselbloem Catholic primary school was also defaced with such texts.
On 29 September 2014 was a sort like daubing action but on far more smaller scale. At that time was the Driemaster Protestant elementary school at the Spinozalaan also heavily been daubed. It had causing many parents to keep their children home from school.
