CBS News Admits They Ran a Bogus Bush Poll

“However, the blogosphere and talk radio uncovered a bit of hanky-panky going on at CBS once again. No, they didn’t use forged documents again — and those responsible for the use of fraudulent memos used to damage the Bush presidency are gone from CBS News, including Mary Mapes and Dandy Dan Rather.”

“So, in an effort to turn the findings of bloggers and talk hosts, who caught CBS monkeying with the poll numbers, into a non-story, they decided to “out” themselves on their website, albeit in the guise of explaining how polls are conducted.”

Terrorist: Israel behind world’s violence

Filed under: Antisemitisme, Indvandring, Islam, Israel, Moske, Minaret, Muslim World — Hodja @ 12:35

Warns his group will launch ‘third intifada’ against Jewish state

Israel is behind all the violence in the world and is using its secret service agencies to fuel the insurgency in Iraq to direct international attention away from the Palestinian conflict, claims a senior leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror organization.

“The Israeli secret services are behind everything in the world, not only in Palestine or in Iraq. So one of the objectives would be to direct the attention of the world to Iraq instead of what is happening in [Israel],” Abu Nasser, Al Aqsa’s leader in the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank said during an exclusive interview with WND’s Aaron Klein and ABC Radio’s John Batchelor broadcast on Batchelor’s national program for which Klein serves as a co-host.

Publish or Perish: The Lessons of the Cartoon Jihad

Filed under: Censur, Europa, Islam, Muhammed Cartoons, Muslim World — Hodja @ 12:15

The central issue of the “cartoon jihad”—the Muslim riots and death threats against a Danish newspaper that printed 12 cartoons depicting Mohammed—is obvious. The issue is freedom of speech: whether our freedom to think, write, and draw is to be subjugated to the “religious sensitivities” of anyone who threatens us with force.

That is why it is necessary for every newspaper and magazine to re-publish those cartoons, as I will do in the next print issue of The Intellectual Activist. Click here.

This is not merely a symbolic expression of support; it is a practical countermeasure against censorship. Censorship—especially the violent, anarchic type threatened by Muslim fanatics—is effective only when it can isolate a specific victim, making him feel as if he alone bears the brunt of the danger. What intimidates an artist or writer is not simply some Arab fanatic in the street carrying a placard that reads “Behead those who insult Islam.” What intimidates him is the feeling that, when the beheaders come after him, he will be on his own, with no allies or defenders—that everyone else will be too cowardly to stick their necks out.

The answer, for publishers, is to tell the Muslim fanatics that they can’t single out any one author, or artist, or publication. The answer is to show that we’re all united in defying the fanatics.

Om at deltage i den Israelske antisemitiske tegnekonkonkurrence

Filed under: Antisemitisme, Islam, Israel, Muhammed Cartoons, Muslim World, Saudi — Hodja @ 10:09

The Religious Policeman beklager sig over ikke at kunne deltage i konkurrencen, da han som bekendt er araber bosat i Saudi Arabien:

“Unfortunately, I cannot enter one of my own creations, as the competition is open to Jews only. Not only is this typical Orientalist Islamophobia, it also guarantees that a Jew will win, demonstrating once more how much smarter they are than we Arabs.”

Politisch korrekt? Phyllis Chesler Streitschrift gegen einen neuen Antisemitismus

Filed under: Antisemitisme, Citater, Europa, Islam, Israel, Kristne, Politisk korrekte — Hodja @ 01:54

Hesperophobia (fear or hatred of the West).

Filed under: Australien, Europa, Islam, Kristne, Muslim World, Terrorism — Hodja @ 01:02
The word Hesperophobia was coined by political scientist Robert Conquest.  Its roots are the Greek words ‘έσπερος (hesperos), which means “the west” and φόβος (phobos), which means “fear,” but which when used as an English suffix can also carry the meaning “hate”.  Hesperophobia is fear or hatred of the West.

I came across a great article by John Derbyshire – here are some excerpts:

“A common word for Europeans in the Arabic language is feringji, from “Frank”, i.e. crusader.  Arabs don’t hate us because we support Israel.  They hate us because we humiliated them, showed up the gross inferiority of their culture.  To them, and similarly humiliated peoples, we are the other, detested and feared in a way we can barely understand.  Things got really bad in the 19th century.  When European society achieved industrial lift-off, Europeans were suddenly buzzing all over the world like a swarm of bees.  They encountered these other cultures, that had been vegetating in a quiet conviction of their own superiority for centuries (or in the case of the Chinese, millennia).  When these encounters occurred, the encountered culture collapsed in a cloud of dust.  Some of them, like the Turks, managed to reconstitute themselves as more or less modern nations; others, like the Arabs and the Chinese, are still struggling with the trauma of that encounter.  Neither the Arabs nor the Chinese, for example, have yet been able to attain rational, constitutional government.”

Anyone studying the history of Western contact with China will know the truth of this assertion. The Manchus were crazy with humiliation at the ease with which the West penetrated China, since to them, China was the Middle Kingdom, closest to Heaven, and centre of the world. Chinese maps of the time portrayed Europe as a group of little islands.

“The 1991 Gulf War showed how little has changed since those first encounters.  Here were the armies of the West:  swift, deadly, efficient, equipped and organized, under the command of elected civilians at the head of a robust and elaborate constitutional structure.  And here were the Arabs: a shambling, ill-nourished, shoeless rabble, led by a mad gangster-despot.  (That was their Arabs.  There were also, of course, our Arabs — the Kuwaitis and Saudis, cowering in their plush-lined air-conditioned bunkers being waited on by their Filipino servants  while we did their fighting for them.)  Final body counts:  the West, 134 dead, the Arabs, 20,000 or more.  The superiority of one culture over another has not been so starkly demonstrated since a handful of British wooden ships, at the end of ten-thousand-mile lines of communications, brought the Celestial Empire to its knees a hundred and fifty years earlier.  The Chinese are still mad about that:  they are still making angry, bitter movies about the Opium Wars.  A hundred and fifty years from now, the Arabs will not have forgotten the Gulf War.” — or to quote the commander in Jarhead, “We are the righteous hammer of God, coming down …”

Read it all at: http://olimu.com/WebJournalism/Texts/Commentary/Hesperophobia.htm

It certainly explains a lot. A friend who lived and worked in Europe was telling me about the numerous encounters he had with Africans who were exactly like this – one even told him that she hated all westerners and was only in Europe for the free ride on social security etc. Needless to say, she didnt get the position she applied for.

My very cynical husband has always sworn that ‘they hate us’. He has travelled far more than I have, and although I originally disgareed with him, I’m beginning to have second thoughts.

Killer Van Gogh is Hero – We Moroccans take over the Netherlands

A small message in the local newspaper (Amsterdam):

Teachers of the Mozaiek elementary school are very concerned about the radicalization of their pupils. Mohammed B. [Bouyeri :The killer of Van Gogh] is revered as a hero, when Hirsi Ali is shown on school TV they mimic ‘shooting’ movements. When they visited the Anne Frank House pupils said “they deserved it” and “They should have killed more Jews”.

The radical behavior is not new. The teachers of the Christian elementary school say they ask for years now attention to this problem. Teacher Marlene van den Berg:

“After the September 11 attacks, they made a St. Nicolas [children feast where presents are packet in self made creative wrappings] surprise of the WTC towers, complete with flames and falling people. We started the dialog: What do you mean, why do you do this? Then you get a ruthless answer: They deserved it, they had to do it a long time ago”,

The radicalism dates according to Berg from before September 11. “It varies each year. Ten years ago we hearth in group 7 and 8 [age around 10-11 years old] pupil’s say:

“We Moroccans take over the Netherlands”. Now we see pupil’s in-group 3 [age around 5 years old] – who can barely write – already write phonetically ‘Fuck you Netherlands’ on small papers. Pupils in-group 8 have a photo of Mohammed B. [Killer of Theo van Gogh] in their schoolbag, they seem him as their hero.

The worries of the teachers are also shared by education alderman Lieke Thesingh of the city department Oud-Zuid [old-south]. She warned burgomaster Cohen about it. “He turned pale” says Thesingh on a special neighborhood evening in the Diamand neighborhood [where Moroccans youth drove a Dutch family out of their home, but Cohen denied that their was a problem, to suggest later that the Dutch family was racist] where the teachers of the Mozaiek school told their story again.

The municipality administration knows about the problems, confirm sources on city hall. The problems are also on two other schools, which are not named. Recently safety civil servants of burgomaster Cohen have investigated the reports of the teachers. That showed who influenced the youth. They call the signs alarming.
