Radio Netherlands Worldwide conducted a survey of 1000 Dutch nationals living abroad. Nearly half of the expatriates in Islamic countries said the MP had a negative influence on their lives. Only four percent of those living in non-Muslim countries said the MP’s comments caused them danger or difficulties.

More than 50 percent of the expats in Islamic countries expect boycotts of Dutch companies if and when the film is eventually released.
